Player of the Season Kevin Foley has agreed a new four-year contract which will tie him to Wolves until 2013.
Kevin, a revelation at Molineux since joining from Luton in August, 2007, had a year left on his previous deal but has now agreed terms on the new contract and will put pen to paper next week.
The defender, who polled over 50 per cent of supporters' votes to be named Player of the Season, admits he is "really delighted" at the impending extension to his Wolves stay.
"It's something we've talked about for a while and to have finally got it done is great," he says.
"I'm delighted to have secured my long term future at Wolves - it's something I'm looking forward to and I can't wait to start next season now.
"I was always 100 per cent up for signing another contract.
"The gaffer pulled me just before the end of the season and said I'd done quite well and said he was going to offer me a new deal.
"So was I really happy about that because I feel comfortable where I am and I'm loving life at the moment.
"With all the boys around me, there's nowhere else I want to be.
"My agent spoke to the club and thankfully things have been sorted out pretty quickly without any problems.
"I definitely see my long term future at Wolves. We've got the nucleus of a good team here and hopefully we can go from strength to strength."
Kevin has already chalked up 96 senior appearances for Wolves in just two seasons, maintaining an impressive standard of performance and becoming very much a "Mr Consistent" at right back.
The 24-year-old made his long-awaited Republic of Ireland bow in last Friday's friendly with Nigeria, but will not be involved in tomorrow's World Cup qualifier with Bulgaria after it was agreed he could return home earlier this week as his partner is due to give birth.
That happy event will then be followed by another - a first season in the Premier League!
Kevin added: "We know it's going to be really tough, but everyone in the dressing room is 100 per cent up for the challenge.
"Why wouldn't they be because that's where everyone wants to be.
"In my own case I want to improve and I feel like there's no end to improvement as a player.
"Everyone can improve, no matter who you are.
"After resting, now is the time to kick on and look forward to next season."
Kevin is the second of the current squad to have agreed a new contract since Wolves' Championship triumph after Karl Henry put pen to paper on a new four-year deal last week.
