It's very much a tale of three Edwards as Wolves welcome Blackpool to Molineux tomorrow.

Carlos won't be there - having been recalled from his loan spell by Sunderland - but midfielder Dave will be, as a confirmed replacement for the suspended Karl Henry, and so too Rob, the former Wolves defender making his first competitive return to Molineux.

It promises to be an interesting afternoon for Rob up against his former team-mates, many of whom he has stayed in close touch with.

"I spoke to Neill Collins earlier in the week and I'll probably speak to a few more before the game, winding them up," he says.

"I speak to Matt Murray almost every day and him and Neill are good friends of mine, so I often catch up on the gossip from them.

"I've got pretty much all the players' numbers because so many of them are good mates.

"I put them top when we won at Birmingham which helped the lads and now we're against each other but it's nice to do your pals a favour!"

Rob, who spent four years at Molineux making over 100 appearances, admits he is in for a tough afternoon's work if Chris Iwelumo is fit enough to partner Sylvan Ebanks-Blake.

"Sylvan is brilliant - probably the best striker in the league," says the Seasider.

"He was top scorer last season and I wouldn't be surprised if he won the Golden Boot again.

"His whole game is brilliant - he's got pace, movement, he's strong on his right and left foot and he can head it well.

"Him and Chris Iwelumo are the outstanding partnership in the division and they're so strong, so we know how hard it's going to be.

"We have to try to stifle them and that's what we'll be working on."

But onto Dave, the only Edwards on the Wolves' side tomorrow, who will be keen to make the most of his chance after Karl's suspension.

The form of Karl and David Jones has left the 22-year-old needing to be patient whilst awaiting his opportunity, and he is hoping for better fortunes than in his previous two league starts at Swansea and Norwich.

"If selected, it will be a great opportunity for me, especially at home because I love playing at Molineux in front of the home fans," he says.

"But I can't put too much pressure on myself to play well because it's always the way that if you put too much emphasis on needing to play well, you end up not having your best of games.

"If do get the nod, I'll treat it as any other game - I'll try to be as relaxed as I can and go out there and play my usual game.

"Swansea was disappointing. The conditions were horrible and it was one of those games where six or seven of us weren't at the races.

"I didn't have my best game there and it was one of those occasions where you wonder whether you've blown your chance.

"The came Norwich, but since then we've bounced back well as a team with five wins in a row, so if I do get the nod, it would be nice to come into a winning team and hopefully keep that going."
