After Wolves' trio of England-under-21 internationals were involved in last night's 2-0 win against the Czech Republic, it promises to be another busy night at home and abroad for Molineux watchers tonight with no fewer than EIGHT more potential caps to be won.

Perhaps the most high-profile of those might go to a player who isn't even a fully fledged Wolf, but Michael Mancienne has certainly taken no time at all to win over the Wolves' fanbase since arriving on loan from Chelsea.

Just three weeks after arriving at Molineux, Michael has been elevated from the under-21 set-up to his first senior call-up, and will be hoping for some game time in tonight's friendly in Germany.

"I know Mancienne," says England coach Fabio Capello ahead of tonight's game.

"He is young but I have confidence in his ability.

"I remember when Sven-Goran Eriksson took Theo Walcott to the World Cup and it is the same kind of thing.

"You have to put younger players in sometimes. It is important.

"Yes, he could have a big impact in two years? I hope so. But why not before? He is a very interesting player."

Meanwhile Wolves striker Andy Keogh is poised to start on the wing for the Republic of Ireland in tonight's friendly against Poland at Croke Park.

Keogh has been named as a confirmed starter by coach Giovanni Trapattoni for the Dublin clash, in which he will win his ninth cap.

Kevin Foley, still waiting for his senior Republic of Ireland bow, is hoping to be named among the substitutes.

Chris Iwelumo could also be set for a big night as he hopes to figure for Scotland against Diego Maradona's Argentina.

Chris is battling for a starting berth as he bids to follow up on his debut against Norway last month in which his positive impact as a substitute was overshadowed by a missed chance.

"There was a fear that this was how I was going to be remembered." says Chris.

"It was my debut and if we'd gone on to win then it could have been laughed off - but we didn't.

"So I had to hold my hands up and apologise to the country and to the rest of the boys.

"It was a one-in-a-million thing. I've tried to be honest about it as I can but it was a hard one to take.

"There's nothing more I can do about that now but hopefully I can put things right. I'm a proud Scot, I love my country and it's my dream to do well for them.

"As a striker, first and foremost you want to make sure that you hit the target and that's what I'll be aiming to do if I'm involved.

"Scoring against Argentina in Maradona's first game would be nice. You never know what's round the corner but I'm hoping that it's something positive."

Wolves' Welsh trio of Wayne Hennessey, Dave Edwards and Sam Vokes are all in Denmark ahead of tonight's friendly.

Wayne is unlikely to start the game with John Toshack opting to give his normal back-up Boaz Myhill a chance, but Wayne has spoken whilst on international duty of his desire to battle with Carl Ikeme for the Wolves' goalkeeping berth.

And finally the stakes are high for on-loan winger Carlos Edwards.

The Sunderland man turns out for Trinidad & Tobago in a World Cup qualifier against Cuba knowing they stand on the brink of qualifying for what effectively amounts to the final play-offs to make the 2010 World Cup.
