Both Carlos Edwards and Richard Stearman have praised the efforts of on loan team-mate Michael Mancienne following his call-up into the full England squad for Wednesday's international in Germany.
The central defender had another inspired game at Southampton helping Wanderers achieve a sixth away win of the campaign.
Carlos said: "I rate him as one of the best young centre-halves of his generation and I can see big things happening for him in the future.
"I can see him in a full England shirt and hopefully playing in Europe.
"I rate him very highly - he's come here not just to prove a point but to get games under his belt and he's proved he's one to reckon with and he's one for the future.
"He has the right people around him who can lead down the right path and I think he looks like a guy who knows what he's capable of, knows what he's doing and he has a good bunch of lads around him."
Michael's partner in central defence, Richard Stearman, added: "He's certainly worthy of it. Mike told me on Friday that he was on standby for the squad and I was delighted for him.
"I knew myself previously how good he was so it's not that great a surprise to me. I don't think there's a limit to how good he can become.
"He came here looking for games and he's proving just how much of a good player he is.
"But it's good for the rest of the under-21s to see that if you're playing well, Mr Capello will give you a chance.
"Hopefully he gets the chance to play because it wouldn't just be great for Mike, but for Wolves as well.
"We've conceded fewer since Mike's arrival and that's something we've been looking to do for a while."
