The 24-year-old centre back was Norwich's captain last season and has made 131 appearances at the club, scoring three goals.

Jez has also confirmed that Wolves are in talks with left back Matt, who is to undergo a medical.

Wolves striker Stephen Elliott is in talks with Preston and is also set to undergo a medical relating to a possible move in the other direction.

Matt, 27, spent seven years at hometown club Bristol City - making his debut as a substitute in the 6-1 defeat to Wolves in 1998 - before spending the last three seasons at Preston.
