Karl Poised For Captaincy
Mick McCarthy today declared his faith in Karl Henry as the midfielder prepared to take over the captaincy from the injured Jody Craddock.
Jody is sidelined for a possible three months with a broken metatarsal leaving the armband up for grabs, and Karl - who has captained the side regularly over the last two seasons - is set to step in.

And Mick believes the central partnership of Karl and David Jones were almost his unsung heroes at the weekend.
He added: "It was difficult for them on Saturday because there was three in the middle for Wednesday - they were continuously marked as it was two versus two and they had the spare man - Steve Watson.
"It turned out well but at the start of the game, their two wingers were better than ours and their front three caused us more problems than we caused them.
"From us getting back in the game, I thought it settled down and I never thought we'd lose.
"The pair of them did a shift, which they have to do if they're up against three in there."
