Down In The Mouth

Posted on: Mon 30 Jun 2008

Karl Henry was left looking a little down in the mouth as his fellow squad members embarked on the first day of pre-season training.

The midfielder is still suffering from the after effects of having two wisdom teeth taken out last Thursday.

He explained: "I had the bottom two wisdom teeth out and they gave me a general anaesthetic which, at the time I was quite grateful about.

"When I came too I felt fine for a few minutes but then started to feel really sick.

"Over the weekend I have still felt nauseous and light headed and although it's getting a little better each day, I still feel way below par. My jaw is pretty sore too.

"The physios here decided it would be best if I stayed indoors so I've just done some light work in the gym.

"I'm hoping to be back out with the lads in the next couple of days though. You could say 'I can't wait to get my teeth into training'!
