Reserves Suffer Narrow Defeat.

Port Vale 1 (Prosser 76) Wolves 0

A crowd of just 36 was at Vale Park to watch Wolves reserves slip to a narrow defeat against Port Vale.

The Potteries side won thanks to a 76th minute goal from Luke Prosser who headed home after Joe Cardle had fired in a free-kick from the left.

Wolves' best efforts came from Ashley Hemmings, who hit the post in the opening minutes, and Kyle Bennett (pictured) who was just off target with a free-kick shortly after the break.

Vale: Martin, Mulligan, Eckersley (Pike 72), Rocastle, McGregor, Prosser, Richman, Davidson, Lawrie (Edwards 81) Glover (Bown 75), Cardle.
