Trying To Be Positive
He may have scored two but Sylvan Ebanks-Blake was as disappointed as anyone after his good work was undone in the dying seconds of last night's two-all draw with Southampton.
But the former Plymouth striker is trying to remain positive.
He says: "It would have been brilliant if we'd won after I scored twice.
"Everyone is just really disappointed with how things finished.
"Although we didn't play the best football we battled and took our chances and at the end we've only ended up with a point.
"From a personal point of view I'm happy to have scored but if you take my goals off me and give us the three points then I'd take it. I'm a team player.
"Everyone's disappointed and no one more so than me, the lads in the dressing room, manager and all the staff.
"But what we can do? It's a point, we didn't lose the game so let's try to take a positive out of it.
"If you look at it now, after losing a few games we've probably become a bit more consistent with two wins and a draw - seven points out of nine over the last three games.
"On reflection it's not all bad, we're progressing which is the main thing and it's positive.
