Mick McCarthy says his team won't be in for an easy ride when they face Blackpool this evening.

The manager recalled the fixture between the teams earlier in the season when Wolves were fortunate to take all three points.

"When Blackpool came here earlier in the season they played very well," admitted Mick.

"If I'm honest, it's one of those games that we've nicked this season, and we've not done that with many.

"They had a great chance when they were 1-0 up and if that had gone in they might have gone away with the points. But eventually we managed to go and win the game.

"Simon Grayson has got them playing some nice football and he's done remarkably well to get them out of the bottom three.

"They've been very competitive every time I've seen them.

"As well as that game against us I also remember watching one on the telly against Scunthorpe where they just didn't let up and finished up getting a late equaliser.

"They have a determination and a team spirit and togetherness which is what you need to get results."
