Everyone Needed
Two strikers have been added to the Molineux ranks during the transfer window but Mick McCarthy insists all the Wolves forwards have a role to play in the push to get into the play-offs.
Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has already made his presence felt since joining from Plymouth, and this week Kevin Kyle has been signed up on loan from Coventry.
That takes the total to seven forwards, although Stephen Ward is currently out of action with a knee problem. Freddy Eastwood is also ruled out of tomorrow's match at Watford because of the cast on his hand.
"Unless we've got everybody fit and we're winning all the time then the team will change," says Mick.
"Looking at the games remaining we need to score goals, we need to take our chances and therefore we will need all our strikers.
"Keogh and Sylvan have been great, Elliott has been playing wide right and Jay came on and contributed to the winner on Tuesday and scored at Watford last week. We've also got Freddy who has been unfortunate because he's been injured. We've got competition - which is healthy."
The boss argues that the addition of Kyle will give the striking force a different dimension with his physical presence.
He adds: "Having Kevin here will be a huge help. Certain players respond to different managers and it worked well for us at Sunderland.
Hopefully we can replicate it here. We've got a few strikers now but none like him.
"We're not the kind of team who just bang balls in the box - we're better than that - but there are times when you can be desperate for a goal.
"I've played against and managed against some of the best in the world and if you've got ten minutes to go and need a goal what do teams do? They knock the ball into the box and see if the opposition makes a mistake."
