Daniel Jones is to stay at Northampton until January 26.

The Wolves Academy graduate has been on loan at Sixfields since the start of the season and has been a regular for the League One side. His temporary move was due to end on January 4.

"Stuart Gray (Northampton manager) asked if they could keep Dan a bit longer," says manager Mick McCarthy.

"He couldn't be involved with us because he is cup-tied so we agreed he could stay until the end of the month."
