Just over a month into his new career with Wolves, fitness coach Tony Daley is delighted if unsurprised with the reaction he has received from the Molineux playing staff.
And Tony's new job also means that he has a much shorter journey to make from the home he has occupied on the outskirts of Birmingham since he was a player with Wolves.
He said: "When I first started it was obvious that the fitness levels of the players were very good and a lot of credit for that must go to my predecessor - Kunle Odetoyinbo.
"But the players' attitude and application to what I've wanted from them has been first class and that goes to making my job a lot easier.
"They have all, without exception, responded to what I've wanted them to do whether it be outside on the training pitch or in the gym.
"I was at Sheffield United for four years and I had a fantastic time there. The lads at Bramall Lane were also good to work with so I consider myself very fortunate to have dropped lucky again with another great bunch.
"These players aren't just here to go through the motions, they have tremendous ambition and it shows in their work ethic. They want what we all want - Premier League football."
Early riser Tony is usually one of the first to arrive at Compton Park ahead of a day's training.
"The one thing I don't miss about Sheffield United is the travelling," he admitted. "But I'm still an early bird and usually get to Compton by 7.30am.
"Some of the other coaching staff aren't far behind me and so we can start preparing for the day ahead without rushing.
"This has been a dream move for me. Less travelling, a former club, and good staff and players to work with. I'm very happy"
