Matchday Magazine Details For Sunday

Posted on: Fri 07 May 2010

The matchday magazine for Sunday's final game of the season with Sunderland contains an extended feature about three influential figures for both clubs in recent years.

Mick McCarthy, Ian Evans and Dave Bowman have served both clubs with distinction, with the trio now looking forward to another top flight season with Wolves having previously enjoyed three happy years with Sunderland.

In the feature the trio reflect on their early days together in football, talk about their successful alliance and recall their spells with both clubs.

Also in Sunday's bumper edition, Wolves captain Karl Henry gives his End of Term report looking back in both seriousness and jest at the last nine months.

Find out who's been the biggest moaner, had the worst haircut, been the laziest trainer and Manager's Pet in Henry's no-holds-barred address!

The 'A to Z' feature goes behind the scenes with Greg Halford while the Mind of Molineux quiz sees the battle between playing staff and backroom staff as Matt Murray takes on Mark James.

The History section includes the Golden Days column from Steve Gordos in which he recalls a Molineux date between the teams in February, 1996, while the World Cup countdown has moved on to a preview of the summer's tournament in South Africa.

Tony Daley's final Fitness First column of the season looks at the end-of-season testing which the players have carried out while Don Goodman's exclusive column discusses the recent problems surrounding unsavoury pitch invasions.

As ever the programme contains a quality assortment of pictures, including a page special from this week's End of Season dinner and pictures of Mick being put through a recent Health Check by Wolves Community Trust.

Also in Saturday's bumper 100-page edition.

      ·          All the usual columns from Mick McCarthy, Jez Moxey, Steve Weaver, Kevin Thelwell, Mick Halsall.

·          Three pages of your news and pictures in Fanzone.

·          Academy feature looking at the season's award winners.

·          The usual in-depth five-page guide to visitors Sunderland.

·          All the latest from the Commercial and Ticketing Departments.

Despite the increase in pagination this year, and the new bound cover, the matchday magazine is still on sale for the same price as last season - £3.
