Wolverhampton Wanderers kicked off this season's programme of 1877 events with a sell-out crowd packing into the Molineux's Hayward Suite for the visit of former two-time Boxing champion Ricky Hatton.

After bounding into the room to the tune of 'Hi Ho Ricky Fatton', over 300 guests were on hand to enjoy an amusing insight into the career of 'The Hitman' featuring stories of his memorable encounters with the likes of Jose Luis Castillo, Floyd Mayweather Jnr and the Gallagher brothers Noel and Liam!

Hatton confirmed to the expectant crowd he was yet to make a decision as to whether he will continue fighting, preferring at the moment to channel his time into promoting fights.

Comedian Tony Gerrard ended the night with a terrific performance, sending the guests home happy.

Details of our February and March dinner dates will be announced very soon.
