The Wolves 4 Family Football campaign was a huge success last season - with almost 9,000 fans taking up the special ticket promotion over the four designated fixtures of which over 50 per cent were completely new visitors to Molineux.
The ticket promotion was just part of a concentrated overall strategy to encourage the Fans of the Future through the Molineux turnstiles, which also included the opening of the new Family Information Centre situated next to the Ticket Office.
This centre was designed to provide a child-friendly welcome where families could source a range of information about Wolves in conjunction with purchasing both home and away match tickets.
Other initiatives launched helped Wolves achieve the distinction of being named Football League Family Club of the Year at the awards ceremony in London in March.
Of course this season the W4FF campaign is back with the ticket promotion - two adults and two children for £40 in the lower tier of the Steve Bull Stand - exactly the same price as last season.
The first of these games was against Fulham on Sunday 20th September with W4FF tickets fully sold out. Youngsters not only enjoyed a fantastic home win, but were entertained by stilt walkers strutting their stuff outside the ground and temporary Wolves tattoos and foam hands were also distributed to young supporters - so all in all a great day was had by all!
Details regarding the next W4FF games will be announced shortly.
