Miranda Burton, aged 14, was the winner of the 'Design the front cover' competition which was opened up to the club's young supporters ahead of the Burnley game, the first of four designated "Wolves 4 Family Football' fixtures.
Miranda was therefore a special guest of the club for the day on Saturday, making the long old trip up with her family from Cornwall.
She now takes up the story of what happened on her special day:
"We were travelling up to Wolverhampton on Friday night, buzzing for the big game against Burnley on Saturday.
"I had designed the front of the programme for the game and won the competition. For winning, I got four free tickets to the game, my design printed on the programmes and my framed design presented to me on the touchline.
"On Saturday, I was waiting outside the new Family Information Centre, when I was told that I will be going on the pitch at half time and I will be getting a signed football presented to me by Matt Jarvis (my favourite Wolves player!!!)
"Also Lord Mawhinney (Football League chairman) was going to be cutting the ribbon and I would have my picture taken with him.
"I was watching the game in the Steve Bull lower stand, Wolves were winning 1-0 and the whistle was about to go for half time.
"I waited at my seat to be collected. I was led around the pitch in font of the Stan Cullis stand up to the tunnel area.
"There at the tunnel was Matt Jarvis and Lord Mawhinney. They were talking about Matt's injury and how Lord Mawhinney had never had problems with his hamstring but problems with his achilies.
"I was introduced to Matt and shook his hand! Andy Morgan (Head of Wolves in the Community) then told me to come onto the pitch whilst they were talking about how they had run a competition to design the front of the programme and that I had won it.
"Lord Mawhinney then came on the pitch after me with my framed design and followed by Matt Jarvis holding the signed football.
"I then had pictures taken with Matt and Lord Mawhinney on the pitch. After that I asked Matt if he could sign my shirt, so he did.
"I was very happy that I had met my Wolves idol and I got to walk on the turf at Molineux as it's an experience I will never forget.
"I think that the thought of coming up with the idea to have a Family area as part of the Wolves 4 Family Football campaign is very good and it will draw young Wolves fans in.
"Also being so close to the players at the bottom of the stand is great as young fans like to be close to the players. I would like to thank all the Wolves staff for making this possible and just say that I am proud to be a Wolves fan."
