The woodwork twice came to Wolves' rescue but there were no goals in the friendly with Kidderminster at Aggborough.
The Harriers line up included former the former Molineux duo of Martin Riley and Matthew Barnes-Homer along with five trialists, whilst Wolves fielded defenders Neill Collins, Jason Shackell and Darren Ward in an otherwise youthful team.
Also having a run out with Wanderers were former Derby striker Paris Simmons and a 16-year-old Dutch winger called Perez.
Twice in the opening 15 minutes Darryl Knights tried his luck for the home side. His first effort, a 25-yard volley, flew wide of the far post and then he fired wide with an angled shot after a cross from Chris McPhee.
For Wolves Ashley Hemmings was wide of the mark after he had taken a pass from Kyle Bennett and then the striker forced a first save from Dean Coleman in the home goal with 24 minutes gone.
Gavin Strachan hit a 22-yard free-kick straight at Richard Woolley in the Wolves goal before twice in a minute Hemmings set up chances for Elliot Bennett. Coleman comfortably saved from Bennett's first effort with his second shot going wide.
Four minutes before the break a first time shot from Knights was deflected narrowly wide for a corner.

Within a minute of his introduction at the break, Sam Winnall was hurt after a collision in the centre-circle. The striker was carried off on a stretcher with what looked to be a knee injury.
When play resumed Hemmings glanced a header over the bar after a Kyle Bennett cross.
But Kidderminster were a couple of inches away from taking the lead in the 54th minute when Dean Bennett's 25-yard drive smacked against the crossbar with Woolley beaten.
Kyle Hadley finished a run from the halfway line to the edge of the box with a shot that was only just too high.
It was all Kidderminster in the final 25 minutes with Zac Costello forcing a diving save from Woolley before McPhee headed against a post after a cross from Hadley.
Woolley then saved with his feet after Hadley had broken clear after he had run onto Smikle's through ball.
After the final whistle coach Steve Weaver admitted: "That wasn't a very good display. We looked like a team that hadn't played together for three months.
"But, to be fair, we have had illness and injury disrupting us all week and now that we have 90 minutes under out belt, I'm confident that we can kick on from here."
