Last week, former Wolves winger, Shane Tudor revisited MolineuxClick here for part one of his blog. On Saturday he joined Paul and Otto during a live match blog, updating fans on the Wolves V Athletic Bilbao friendly and answering any questions that were posed to him.

Here is part two of his blog, where he looks ahead to Wolves' new season in the top flight...

Looking forward to the new season and the Barclays Premier League opener against Stoke City. I am hoping like every other Wolves fan that the second season syndrome does not come in to play. Unlike other clubs in the past, I feel Mick McCarthy has improved the side in key areas over the summer.

Wolves, having scored the fewest goals in the league last season, have acquired Steven Fletcher and this could prove vital over the duration of the season. With Kevin Doyle scoring nine and next in line a centre half-on five goals last time around, I am sure McCarthy will be hoping for more goals from other areas of the team.

The addition of Stephen Hunt will strengthen the left side. Matt Jarvis has been fantastic at times; however, a natural left sided player with the guile and work rate of Hunt will also be key in taking the team in to the next mini league within the division.

Everyone will be hoping Michael Kightly can hit the ground running when he comes back from injury like Hunt during the next campaign. Kightly was pivotal in Wolves counter attacking play in the Championship and many feel he was severely missed last time out.

On a positive note, after a tricky start Wolves defence with Marcus Hahnemann marshalling it, conceded only 30 goals in their final 30 games compared to 26 in the first 8. If Wolves can continue to stay compact and take their second half of the season's defensive displays in to this season and Fletcher settles in alongside Doyle, Wolves can then hope for a mid table finish.

An improved finishing position would allow Steve Morgan and his team to push on again and look one day in the future to challenge for a European birth, completing the plans to turn Wolves in to a major force in the top flight.
