There have been many a full back in the Championship who have been left seeing stars when twisting in and out to try and deal with Wolves winger Michael Kightly.
Unfortunately there was one Wolves fan who joined them at the City Ground on Saturday - and the game hadn't even kicked off!
A wayward shot from Kights during the pre-match warm up caught an unsuspecting member of the packed away following full on the head, knocking him to the floor.
That prompted both Kights and midfielder Karl Henry to show concern about the supporter's welfare.
Fortunately the gentleman concerned soon recovered after receiving attention from stewards and first aiders, and there was more than one consolation to follow.
Not only did Kights pop up to notch the crucial winning goal but he also - as promised - sought out the recovered supporter at the end of the game to hand over a special memento.
"I've tried a shot during the warm-up and seen it hit the chap full on the head and he fell down," says Kights.
"He was coming down the stairs looking for his seat so didn't see the ball coming his way.
"Immediately I was hoping that he'd be alright and I went over to see.
"Thankfully he seemed o-k and I said to him to wait after the final whistle and then I'd look out for him and give him my shirt.
"At the end of the game I went over and it was so packed and everyone was obviously so happy that I couldn't find him at first.
"Eventually I managed to see him and handed the shirt over - I think he was happy - at least he wasn't still dazed!
"I'm just thankful he was o-k because it was quite a hard shot and it could have been a lot worse."
Kights' action then prompted several of his team-mates to do the same and chuck their shirts into the delirious ranks of Wolves fans - cue a few more kit orders for the trip to Birmingham a week on Monday!

Wolves Season Ticket holder John Bray witnessed the unfortunate pre-match incident.
"I thought it was a really fantastic gesture, and a true measure of the man," said John, who took the picture above of the celebrations at the end of the game.
"I think the guy was in a bit of pain before the game, but for Kites to come over at the end of the match to seek him out and give him his shirt was terrific.
"It put the seal on a great afternoon in the away end, where the atmosphere was wonderful, and it was great to see the other players follow Michael's lead and give their shirts too."
And the Wolves winger himself was just glad there was a happy ending to the day in more ways than one.
"I'm just glad the chap was fine and hopefully he enjoyed the day as much as the rest of us did," Kights added.
