The Academy under 18s final away game of the season, at Derby County, saw the points shared after a three all draw.
A poor start by the Molineux youngsters saw them concede early on before a recovery that saw them briefly move into the lead..
Coach John Perkins said: "For the first quarter of an hour Derby bombarded us and we were lucky not to have been more than just one down.
"But we gradually worked our way back into the game and equalised through Krisztian Simon who converted from near the penalty spot after good work from Sam Winnall and James Spray.
"But County regained the lead just before half-time after some sloppy defensive work on our part.
"We made some changes during the break and I felt that we were much improved in the second-half and this showed in the fact that we took the lead after a double from James Spray (pictured).
"His first was a header after 65 minutes after Paul McCone had crossed and then, ten minutes later, he scored with a low drive.
"Unfortunately, our concentration slipped and County responded to level things just two minutes later. Again we should have done better defensively.
"But a draw was a fair enough result and I was pleased with the way we fought back after that slow start."
