The Academy under 18s enjoyed a fine 2-0 away victory over Bolton on Saturday with Sam Winnall notching both goals.
It took the young striker's tally for the season to nine as Wolves gave one of their best displays of the campaign.
Coach John Perkins said: "We made an excellent start to the game with Sam Winnall heading home following a cross from Johnny Dunleavy after just three minutes.
"We went on to dominate the opening half-hour and it was no surprise when we got a second. Sam was on target once more as he beat two defenders and shot home from just inside the box.
"Ethan Ebanks-Landell and Jack Price, two of our schoolboys, were excellent in midfield whilst another of our under 15s, James Spray, was making his debut at this level in attack. He held the ball up well and got into some good positions.
"James Davis almost got a third for us before half-time but, after we had dominated much of the first-half, after the break Bolton came at us for 20 minutes.
"But Richard Woolley in goal, and Mark Connllly and Danny Batth in defence, stood firm to deny Bolton and in the final quarter of the game we regained the initiative and had three or four good chances of increasing our lead.
"Overall it was a fine team performance and a thoroughly deserved victory against a side that face Liverpool at Anfield in the quarter-final of the FA Youth Cup on Friday."
