Wolves Academy under 18s came from behind to beat local rivals West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
After a bright opening few minutes to the game, Wolves were then very much on the backfoot in the first-half but, as coach John Perkins reveals, it was an entirely different story after the break.
He said: "We hit the bar through Mark Connolly's header after ten minutes but Albion assumed control after that and our defence was given a severe test.
"Richard Woolley made two good saves and Danny Batth, Johnny Dunleavy and Jamie Reckord were all at their best with some great saving tackles.
"But Richard was beaten in the 25th minute through Lateef Elford-Alliyu who scored from 15-yards.
"We had a bit of a 'sort out' during half-time and it seemed to do the trick because we were soon pressing hard for an equaliser which finally arrived in the 68th minute.
"Kyle Bennett took a free-kick which was headed on by Fungandel Moke to David Davis (pictured) who scored with a volley from 10-yards.
"The winning goal came 15 minutes from the end when Scott Malone beat his marker before crossing for Sam Winnall to find the net from 10-yards out.
"Albion tried hard to get back onto level terms but our defence stood firm for us to claim maximum points."
