Young Wolves On The Mic!

09:51 23rd July 2013

Competition to grill the players

We’re now fed up of carrying out all the website interviews all the time – so want to get a couple of Young Wolves members to take up the mantle and set up a regular series of interviews with club officials and players.

Only joking – we’re not fed up of doing our jobs but equally we are now looking for some fresh input from a couple of ‘young and hungry’ interviewees who can put their subjects under the microscope!

What we are looking for is to a couple of Young Wolves members with plenty of confidence,  bravado and a good sense of humour to ask officials and players the questions all fans want to hear.  Or that others have perhaps feared to ask.    It’s all bit in the style of the ‘Little Ant & Dec’ feature as viewed on the popular Saturday Night Takeaway programme presented by the Geordie duo.

So any members of Young Wolves under the age of 12 who wish to be considered can – via parents or guardians – sent in a short ‘audition’ clip of why they should be considered for the one of the positions.  Clips can be sent in via e-mail to, via Twitter or, via post to Young Wolves competition, Molineux Stadium, Waterloo Road, Wolverhampton. WV1 4QR.  Candidates can send in any sort of application they wish be it an interview or speech to camera on why they should get the gig!

Two candidates will then be selected to take on the interviewing roles and get up, close and personal with the powers-that-be.

Parents or guardians are asked to complete the attached form (CLICK HERE) and include with the e-mail or postal application to grant permission for the videos to be viewed by members of Wolves’ staff as they make their choice!  For 'tweeted' clips please e-mail the permission form to with reference to the tweet.  No videos would be shown publically without seeking further parental permission.

Only Young Wolves members – which includes Junior Season Ticket holders – can apply.  The closing date for applications is 5pm on Monday, August 5.
