Wolves have won their appeal for wrongful dismissal following Christophe Berra’s sending off at Watford on Saturday.
A meeting of the FA Regulatory Commission considered the appeal this afternoon and agreed that it was a case of wrongful dismissal.
Berra was sent off by referee Graham Scott in the 24th minute of the game at Vicarage Road when the score was goalless following a tussle with Hornets striker Troy Deeney, who went on to have a shot saved by Carl Ikeme.
Wolves eventually lost the game 2-1.
The defender will now be available for Saturday’s game with Nottingham Forest at Molineux.
