Wolves can confirm that they have lodged an appeal for wrongful dismissal following Roger Johnson’s red card against Blackpool on Saturday.
The appeal had to be submitted today and written evidence and a DVD clip has been sent to the Football Association ahead of the noon deadline.
Johnson was sent off in the closing stages of Saturday’s game following a clash with Blackpool midfielder Angel Martinez and faces a three match ban if the appeal is unsuccessful.
