Deal close for Ortega

Wolves are set to complete a deal to take on young Spanish midfielder Jordi Ortega when his contract with Barcelona expires at the end of the month.

The 19-year-old, who helped Barcelona win the UEFA Youth League last season, has passed a medical and will become a Wolves player once the necessary paperwork has been completed.

Ortega will follow in the footsteps of fellow Spaniard Albert Torras - who arrived at Molineux last summer - by going into the Development squad when he returns for pre-season training.
