New Head Coach to take the helm

Wolves are delighted to confirm the appointment of Kenny Jackett as the Club’s new Head Coach following an extensive recruitment process.

As a player, the 51-year-old helped Watford to a second place top flight finish and FA Cup Final, and won 31 Welsh caps.

His coaching and managerial career has included successful spells with Watford, where he helped the Hornets win promotion to the Premier League as Assistant to former Wolves and England Manager Graham Taylor, Swansea, where he masterminded promotion to League One, and Millwall, where he guided the Lions to promotion into the Championship and most recently to an FA Cup semi final against Wigan at Wembley in April.

“I am both proud and delighted to have been appointed Head Coach at Wolves, and am really looking forward to the challenge ahead,” said Jackett.

Kenny Jackett will be introduced to the media at a press conference on Monday morning.  No further comment will be made at this time.
