Youngsters on top in Lilleshall friendly.

New under 21s coach Scott Sellars looked on as Wolves beat Conference North side Worcester City by 3-0 in a pre-season friendly on the neutral territory of Lilleshall Park.

Academy coach Sean Parrish took charge on Wednesday evening with Wanderers fielding a new team in each half, including eight trialists in the two squads.

The three goals came in a four minute spell with Anthony Forde bagging the first in the 34th minute as he bent a cracker into the top corner from 20-yards.

Goal number two came after some neat interplay down the right flank before the ball was played in to Jake Cassidy who slotted it between the keeper and the near post.

Cassidy then played a part in the third as he stroked a return pass to Bradley Reid who calmly converted from just inside the box.

Wolves (first-half): Dutton, Iorfa, O’Hanlon, Davis (capt), Trialist (central defender), Trialist (central defender), Trialist (right midfield), Torras, Cassidy, Reid, Forde.

Wolves (second-half): Burgoyne, Kellermann, Carter, Erdei, Trialist (central defender), Trialist (central defender), Trialist (right midfield) (Rainey 60), Ortega, Keita, Trialist (striker) (Breslin 75), Trialist (left midfield).
