Wolves fans often say that supporting the Club is like being on an emotional rollercoaster, experiencing huge highs and lows, which stay in the memory forever.
Down the years, many supporters – across all the generations - have put pen-to-paper to sum-up their experiences, whether it be the memory of their first game at Molineux or going to the game with family and friends.
Many of these poems and letters have been kept in the Club’s archives to be read by future generations visiting the Club’s Museum.
Inspired by these words, Wolves are today launching a competition for supporters to submit a poem – based on the theme ‘This is Our Love’ - which they feel sums up what being a Wolves fan is all about.
The poem will be printed in the Match day Programme against Carlisle, will be used as part of the Wolves End of Season Awards Event and will be on display in the Club’s Museum.
The lucky competition winner will win two tickets to the Wolves End of Season Awards Event attended by the first team, manager and a host of VIP’s.
To submit your poem simply email firstname.lastname@example.org and your poem should be no more than 300 words (one side of A4) in length.
The winner will be announced in about two weeks time.
