Tongo Doumbia is available again for Sunday’s npower Championship game with Cardiff but Stephen Hunt will again be absent.
Doumbia has been absent with a slight knee injury over the last week but boss Dean Saunders has confirmed he is once again available for Sunday’s 2pm kick off.
But Hunt is struggling after being unable to shake off a serious of chest infections.
“Stephen Hunt is struggling to recover from a couple of chest infections, which is a blow, because I like him, he gives you everything he's got,” said Saunders.
“He can't shrug these chest infections off, and every time he trains it knocks him back.”
Meanwhile, Chief Executive Jez Moxey has assured fans that there has been no let-up in the club's efforts to boost the squad further for the run-in.
Wolves have brought in defenders Kaspars Gorkss and Jack Robinson so far during the loan window, and Moxey admits that the pressure is on as he and Saunders look to bring in more reinforcements.
"Nothing has stopped in terms of our efforts to recruit players," he explains. "We've done two bits of business and we're hoping to do something else as well.
"This window is less frantic from our point of view but we still have got to try and get more done - we'd like to loan at least one more player."
Moxey continues: "There is pressure on us because we're running out of time. We're doing all we can to help Dean get the right players in but it's not easy finding them or persuading clubs to let them go."
