Squad of 23 head north of the border.

Kenny Jackett has announced his squad for the pre-season trip to Scotland.

Wolves will take on East Fife for the new manager’s first game in charge on Wednesday, 10th July, and then Livingstone on the following Saturday.

Kenny explained: “I’ve announced the squad to the players and we’re looking forward to the games now.

“We’re taking 23 players and I don’t think there are any question marks over any of them.

“We’re not going to the other side of the world anyway, but we’re clear on the squad – 23 players including three goalkeepers.

“Wayne Hennessey will be going but not playing and the other two keepers will be playing 45 minutes each in the games.”
Kevin Doyle has missed training after picking up a groin injury and won’t travel with the squad. But, if the injury improves, he will join them later in the week.

Squad: Carl Ikeme, Aaron McCarey, Wayne Hennessey, Matt Doherty, Kevin Foley, Danny Batth, Richard Stearman, Georg Margreitter, George Elokobi, Jamie Reckord, Sam Ricketts, Anthony Forde, David Davis, Lee Evans, Tongo Doumbia,  Dave Edwards, Jack Price, Zeli Ismail, Jake Cassidy, Björn Sigurdarson, Bakary Sako, Liam McAlinden, Leigh Griffiths.
