Dean Saunders will leave it until as late as Saturday morning before deciding on what role Bakary Sako will play in the crucial final home game of the season against Burnley.
The winger, who tore a hamstring in the Molineux clash with Bristol City in mid-March, came through part of today’s training at Compton Park and is due to take part in his first full session tomorrow morning.
His accuracy from free-kicks and corners would undoubtedly be a big asset to the boss in a game where points will be vital as Wolves strive to maintain their Championship status.
The Mali born winger had netted ten goals from 37 outings before injury struck.
Dean explained: “I’m going to assess him tomorrow. He did some training today and I’ll make a decision on him on Saturday morning.
“We want to give him as much time as possible. It’s a boost for everyone to see him back in contention.”
