Seniors given game time

Wolves' Reserve team aim to continue their impressive start to the season against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium tonight (7pm).

As per the rules of the new Barclays Reserve League, Wolves are - for the first time this season – utilising the opportunity of fielding three over-21s and an over-age goalkeeper.

And so Dorus De Vries and Dave Edwards both play after fatherhood saw them miss out on the first team squad at Blackburn on Saturday, with Danny Batth and Ronald Zubar completing the over-age contingent by picking up some valuable game time.

Other seniors involved tonight include Anthony Forde, Frank Nouble and Björn Sigurdarson.

Admission at the Etihad Stadium is free tonight, with parking available on the North Stand Car Park.

SQUAD: De Vries, Zubar, Ihiekwe, Batth, Cranston, Forde, Edwards, Price, Ismail, Sigurdarson, Nouble. SUBS: McCarey, Ebanks-Landell, Whittall, Kostrna, McAlinden.
