Wolves are hosting a special open day (Friday, 3rd June 2016) at Compton Park for 2016/17 season ticket holders.

The Club often welcomes charities, community groups and schools on scheduled visits to Compton Park but this is the first time the training ground will have been opened-up to hundreds of Wolves fans on the same day.

On show will be the first team’s Sir Jack Hayward training ground facility, the Wolves Academy & Arena and Wolves’ medical and gym facilities.

Although the first team squad will not be back for pre-season training at this point, supporters will be able to meet some of the Club’s backroom staff who work at Compton Park on a daily basis.

Fans will also be able to see some of the younger players in action in training and demonstration matches.

The free tickets are available online only and subject to availability. A two-hour time slot can be booked by visiting and printing off the appropriate number of tickets.

These tickets will need to be shown to gain entry to the Compton Park training facility.

Some car parking available at the St Edmunds and St Peter’s School car parks, however, fans are being advised to use public transport where possible.

Matt Grayson, Wolves' Head of Marketing and Communications, said:  “We’re delighted to open-up Compton Park and make it available to a large number of supporters on the same day.

“It’s another opportunity for our staff to meet with fans and to give interested supporters a look behind the scenes.

“Organising this day during the school holidays, will hopefully give plenty of youngsters and families, in particular, the opportunity to attend.”
