Wolves have strengthened their Academy and Development coaching ranks by appointing former Northampton Academy Manager Sean Parrish.
Parrish is being brought in as Professional Support Coach for the 17-21 age group, supporting both Mick Halsall with the Under-18s and Development Coach Steve Weaver with the group making the transition from Academy to senior level.
The 40-year-old boasts extensive coaching experience, particularly with the younger age group, and also on the playing front, having represented several clubs in a career which included turning out for

“We are delighted to bring in Sean, who has been heading up the Academy at Northampton but also doing some work with the first team and their manager Aidy Boothroyd,” said Kevin Thelwell.
“I have known Sean for a long time and what he can bring to the club, and when I spoke to Aidy he couldn’t speak highly enough of his ability.
“He has a UEFA ‘A’ license, and extensive experience as both a player and coach, with particular expertise working with the younger age groups.
“Providing support to both Mick and Steve, he will provide a significant addition to our coaching provision and we are all looking forward to working with him.”
Steve Weaver is also delighted to see Parrish join the ranks, having known him in footballing circles for a long period of time.
“I am delighted that Sean is joining us to assist with the development of our younger players,” said Steve.
“His remit means he will be able to assist Mick with the Under-18 group and take more of a role within that set-up if Mick is working with the Development group.
“He boasts extensive experience both as a player and coach and will be a welcome addition to the staff.”
