Midfielder banned for three games

The FA have rejected Wolves’ bid to reduce the punishment handed out to midfielder Jamie O’Hara following his sending-off against Huddersfield on Saturday.

Whilst not appealing against the decision, Wolves had asked the FA to take another look at the incident based on scope within their disciplinary guidelines to potentially reduce the three-game suspension due to exceptional circumstances.

However, the FA have rejected that appeal and O’Hara will now miss three games, against Hull tonight followed by Charlton and Burnley.
