New Wolves 2014/15 Home Kit Launched

Special pop-up gallery created next to Molineux Megastore

Wolves have today launched their new 2014/15 PUMA home kit, which is available to season ticket holders and members from tomorrow (30th April 2014, 9:00am) and all supporters from the 1st May 2014.

The team will wear the new kit for the first time at the final home game of the season versus Carlisle (3rd May 2014, Kick-off: 3:00pm), where captain Samuel Ricketts, and the rest of the squad, will lift the Sky Bet League One title following the final whistle.
The home strip sticks true to the club’s iconic, and world famous, gold & black colours; includes the addition of black sleeves; a new collar and incorporates PUMA’s special dryCELL technology, which manages moisture away from the skins surface.
This year, the Wolves strip has been launched within a special pop-up gallery, which has been set-up directly next to the Club’s Megastore.

Five graffiti artists - one of them based locally in Wolverhampton - have been commissioned to spray their artwork directly onto the whitewashed walls within the facility.  
The artwork is unique to Wolves and the theme is based on the now famous fans’ banner which adorns the Stan Cullis Stand: ‘THIS IS OUR LOVE AND IT KNOWS NO DIVISION.’
Fans visiting the Club’s Molineux Megastore can walk through an adjoining door to see the special pop-up gallery – from 30th April 2014 until 9th May 2014. It also includes a special behind-the scenes video of the kit photo shoot and a display of the new strip.

Wolves have warned fans that significantly less kit has been ordered this year to avoid the Club being left with large volumes of stock placed in a sale, as has been the case in previous seasons. Therefore, supporters should act quickly to ensure they secure their shirt and their preferred size.   
The away kit will be launched during summer.  

Paul Lakin, Head of Commercial Affairs, Wolves, said, “Our fans have a very special connection with the club’s home strip, and the world famous gold & black colours, so we’re delighted PUMA, a leading kit manufacturer, are once again producing both the home and away home kits and all the technical training kit, which is also very popular with our supporters.
“The players will be wearing the strip on the last day of the season, which will give a packed Molineux the opportunity to see the new kit in action.
“To emphasise the link between the fans and the home strip we’ve created a very special pop-up graffiti gallery, which adjoins the Molineux Megastore.
“It sums up the spirit of Wolves and what this season has been all about – the Club and the players reconnecting with our supporters.
“Any fan who visits the Megastore will be able to view the exhibition where supporters will be able to take pictures of the artwork and view the special behind-the-scenes footage of the kit photography shoot with the players.
 “Availability is going to be more limited this season so we’re encouraging fans to act quickly to grab their home strip. Kits are available from Wednesday 30th April to season ticket holders and members and to all supporters from 1st May.”

Kit Availability and Timings:
The Molineux Megastore is open 9am to 9pm Wed 30th April (season ticket holders and members only), Thurs 1st May , Fri 2nd May and from 8am for match day early risers, ahead of the final home fixture versus Carlisle (3:00pm Kick-off). 
The Dudley Street Store is open 9am to 6.30pm Wed 30th April (season ticket holders and members only), Thurs 1st May‎, Fri 2nd May and from 8am for match day early risers ahead of the home fixture versus Carlisle (3:00pm Kick-off).
