Wolves fans are reminded that the Annual Fans’ Memorial Service will take place at St Peter’s Church in Wolverhampton City Centre on Saturday prior to the game with Peterborough at Molineux.
The club have been working with their chaplain – Rector of Wolverhampton Rev David Wright – to arrange the service at which supporters can remember their loved ones who are no longer with us.
The service at 12.30pm will be open to all supporters and fans are being encouraged to wear club colours.
This is an alternative way for the club and fans to respect and celebrate the lives of members of the 'Wolves family' who are no longer with us and this year includes great former players as Bert Williams, Peter Broadbent, Barry Stobart and Dave Wagstaffe, all of whom have left us this season.
A straightforward service will be held whereby loved ones can be remembered individually by name or as a group.
Supporters are requested to email names into the Club of loved ones they wish to remember during the service, and will be printed out and handed out on the day –
Please e-mail the names to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm on Thursday, April 3rd.
