Bjorn Sigurdarson is the cover star for Saturday’s edition of Wolves’ matchday magazine for the fixture against Swindon Town (3pm kick off).
Bjorn talks about his start to the season, competition for striking places, why he never considered leaving Wolves in the summer and which team-mate he’d like to follow around for 24 hours for entertainment value.
Bjorn also features in the 20 Questions section, picked out by team-mate George Elokobi for some gentle ribbing about his fashion sense.
Big George also reveals which team-mate makes him fall asleep and whether he gets scared watching films. We think not!
There’s a battle of the strikers in the Quiz with Kevin Doyle taking on Liam McAlinden.
Elsewhere in the programme there is an extended interview with Steve Evans, a Wolves fan currently battling terminal illness, who has a remarkably positive outlook on life.
Steve talks about the battles he has faced since being diagnosed three years ago, whilst also reflecting on memories of watching Wolves back in the day, including how he got to meet and get to know one of his heroes – John Richards.
There are all the usual columns from Kenny Jackett, Jez Moxey, Steve Weaver, Mick Halsall and captain Samuel Ricketts, not to mention all the latest from the different departments at Wolves including the Community Trust, Commercial, Ticketing, Young Wolves and the Fanzone section.
The Diamond Geezers section continues to take readers on a match-by-match journey through Wolves’ first title winning season of 1953/54, and there is also a six page lowdown on visitors Swindon Town.
Retailing at £3, the matchday magazine will be available from in and around Molineux on Saturday.
