North of the border friendly announced..

Wolves are planning a week long training camp north of the border in the second week of July.

Final details of the trip have yet to be confirmed but what is definitely marked down in new Head Coach Kenny Jackett’s diary is a friendly with Livingston of the Scottish First Division.

The game with the Livi Lions will take place at the Braidwood Motor Company  Stadium on Saturday, 13th July (kick-off 2pm), at the end of the schedul training camp stint.

The ground has a 10,000 all seater capacity and one man used to the surroundings is striker Leigh Griffiths, who was leading scorer for Livingston in 2009.

The Molineux squad return for pre-season training on 24th June, and the friendly with Livingston is the first currently scheduled for pre-season, of which there are now five in total.

Away games are also organised at Wrexham on Tuesday July 16 (7.45pm), Barnsley on Saturday, July 20 (3pm) and Chesterfield on Tuesday July 23 (7.45pm).

Wolves’ traditional pre-season Molineux friendly on the final Saturday before the season is against Spanish La Liga outfit Real Betis (3pm) on July 27.
