Living The Mascot Dream

PUBLISHED

Opportunities still available

There are still opportunities to be a Wolves mascot over the remainder of the season with the chance – in the words of young Amy Griffin – to ‘live the dream’.

For two years Amy had been desperate to lead out a Wolves team with striker Kevin Doyle and, by an extremely happy co-incidence, on the day she was mascot against Bristol City the Irish striker was named as skipper.

Packages are still available for the remaining games offering fans that ‘dream’ experience of leading out their favourite team.

The package includes a full home strip, photo in the matchday programme, four complimentary match tickets for mascot and three guests, a gift bag,  the chance to meet Wolfie and – the opportunity enjoyed by no other fan to visit the dressing room pre-match for autographs and pictures.

For more details click here or e-mail mascots@wolves.co.uk or call 0871 222 1877.

Here with permission of Amy’s mother Karen is her letter thanking staff for Amy’s experience.

‘Thank you so much for making Amy's birthday so special.  She was overwhelmed by the whole day.  Amy has had a dream for a couple of years that she would love to walk out of the tunnel holding Kevin Doyle’s hand, and on Saturday you made that happen.  From the moment we walked in to the stadium, we were all made very welcome, and you all made Amy feel very special.  Thank you to you Kerri, Tina,Tom and Ryan for all their attention and care you showed us all, for the players and staff for their time and enthusiasm.  To Dean Saunders for allowing Amy to fulfil her dream and walk with Kevin. Thank you.

As a family we feel that this is a package that is an unique experience and great value for money.  All of us had an excellent day that we will always remember.

Amy on Sunday wanted to call in the club shop before returning home, she brought with her Birthday money an away shirt and on it, she had the words: ‘DREAMS R AT WOLVES’  printed on the back.  If that doesn't speak for itself……
