Dubious decision leads to only goal at Aggborough.

Kidderminster Harriers 1 (Pilkington 78)
Wolves 0
A dubious refereeing decision condemned Wolves’ development side to defeat against Kidderminster at Aggborough. Harriers substitute Danny Pilkington appeared to run into Michael Ihiekwe but a free-kick was awarded and from it Pilkington curled the ball around the wall and into the net for the only goal of the game.
In the third minute Anthony Malbon headed narrowly over following a well delivered cross from Ricky Shakes. Wolves responded with a back header from Jake Cassidy that went wide of the far post after Johnny Gorman had supplied the cross.
Ihiekwe was in the thick of things and after he had headed behind another teasing cross from Shakes, he cleared from in front of the line after Shakes had cut into the box and fired past Aaron McCarey.
Home keeper Robert Ambrusics saved a Cassidy header on the line after Adam Hammill had lifted a short cross into the six yard box, and then the keeper dived to take a 25 yard free-kick from Hammill.
Shortly before the break, Ambrusics showed tremendous reactions in blocking Gorman’s first time shot after Hammill had fired a free kick into the area.

Five minutes after the resumption, McCarey made a fine save to deny Shakes at the far post after a centre from Marvin Johnson. The keeper then saved a low shot from James Vincent.
In the 73rd minute Ambrusics, with a terrific stop, turned the ball behind just when it looked like Gorman’s 25 yard ground shot was about to break the deadlock.
Five minutes later Pilkington struck with what proved to be the winning goal.
The closing minutes saw Wanderers piling forward in search of an equaliser but although David Moli was just wide with a shot from the edge of the box, and Tim Jakobsson forced another excellent save from Ambrusics, Kidderminster held on for the win.
