The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy will continue its early season tour of the country next week as the countdown to round two continues.
The impressive trophy will be in Wolverhampton on Monday, offering football fans the opportunity to have their picture taken with the silverware.
The Johnstone’s Decorating Centre in Wolverhampton, based on Cooper Street (WV2 2JL), will host the trophy on Monday, September 30 from 7.30am until 6pm.
Supporters are welcome to have their picture taken with the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy – which has already been on tour in Milton Keynes and Bristol this season - throughout the day.
“We have always been keen to engage with as many supporters as possible and there is no better way than taking the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy to the fans,” said Ben Wilde, Brand & Sponsorship Manager for Johnstone’s Paint.
“We have had successful events in Bristol - ahead of the first round derby - and Milton Keynes already this season, and we are hoping the fans in and around Wolverhampton take up this opportunity to have a picture with the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.”
Wolverhampton Wanderers booked their place in the second round with a penalty shoot-out victory over Walsall.
They now entertain Notts County on Tuesday, October 8 with the game being selected for live television coverage.
