Wolves defender Roger Johnson has completed a three-month emergency loan deal to join Sheffield Wednesday.
Johnson will link up with the Owls ahead of a potential debut at former club Birmingham on Saturday.
Speaking when news of the potential deal broke, Wolves Head Coach Kenny Jackett said that the loan move was a good deal for all parties, given Johnson has not been in his plans as he revamped the squad.
“I’m pleased for Roger as it means he can go on and play some football and contribute to what is a very good club at Sheffield Wednesday,” he said.
“It was hard for him here but he is ready to play for Dave Jones’s team and we wish him all the best at Sheffield.”
