Jody Craddock’s testimonial brochure which is the perfect accompaniment to his testimonial year will be available to guests at his dinner on Thursday evening and then from Wolves’ Molineux Megastore from Friday.
The 68-page A4 publication contains a host of stories and memories from Jody’s illustrious career, from his early days throughout his career at Cambridge, Sunderland and Wolves.
The list of contributors from the world of football who have sent messages and good wishes to Jody contained in the brochure is endless.
From managers such as Mick McCarthy, Dave Jones and Peter Reid, to players such as Matt Jarvis, Karl Henry, Joleon Lescott, Paul Butler, stars from the world of music and entertainment Robert Plant, Beverley Knight and Suzi Perry, those who know Jody have been queuing up to pay tribute to both the player and the man.
And officials from Wolves including Sir Jack Hayward, Steve Morgan, Jez Moxey, and Plant’s fellow Vice-Presidents Rachael Heyhoe-Flint and Steve Bull, have also come forward with their own personal recollections of Craddock’s Molineux career.
It is however not just the world of football that is worth reading about in the testimonial brochure.
Jody’s family and friends, including wife Shelley and parents Sandra and Derek, and those mates who have grown up with him and kept in touch throughout offer up a few thoughts and memories from behind the scenes.
And while there are plenty of pictures in action for Cambridge, Sunderland and Wolves, there are of course the obligatory and previously unseen to the public pictures of the young Craddock when he was a mere whippersnapper!
Packed with information and photographs, the brochure is a must-have for all Jody Craddock fans, whether Wolves, Cambridge, Sunderland or football in general, as it looks back one of the game’s true and genuine professionals.
Designed by Synaxis and printed by Precision Colour Printing (PCP), the brochure will be available for a minimum donation of £5. A proportion of the proceeds from Jody's testimonial year are to be awarded to Birmingham Children's Hospital.
