Art and football fans alike are welcome to pop into Molineux’s WV1 Bar next Monday night (December 2nd) as Wolves’ favourite Jody Craddock showcases his other big passion.
As part of his testimonial year Jody, who has pursued his love of art throughout his 20-year footballing career, is putting on an exhibition – event ‘JC3’ - in WV1 from 6pm to 9pm.
The paintings on show will chart a chronological journey through Jody’s footballing days, starting with the work he did while studying through his A-levels through his spells with Cambridge United, Sunderland, Wolves, and now his retirement from playing.
A wide selection of Jody’s paintings will be available to purchase, of all different prices and varieties so suit either a Wolves or footall fan looking for a souvenir of the year or the more discerning art connoisseur.
Jody’s testimonial year is supporting the Children’s Cancer Centre Appeal at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and his testimonial brochure and souvenir prints will also be available on the night.
A selection of Wolves players past and present are also expected at WV1 to support the event.
Admission is free of charge throughout the evening, free parking is available in the Stan Cullis Car Park, and the bar will be open.
After a launch event and hugely successful testimonial dinner featuring a reunion of the 2008/09 Championship winners, JC3 will be the last event of the calendar year before three more next year, including a match between a Wolves XI and Sunderland XI at Molineux.
