I would just like to take this opportunity to wish each and every Wolves fan, wherever you may be, a very Happy New Year.
And I would like once again to thank you for your superb support during the season so far.
The number of supporters who have followed the team both home and away so far this season – culminating in the 28, 598 crowd against Leyton Orient which was the biggest in the Football League over Christmas – has been brilliant to see.
It is very much appreciated by all of us connected with the club and makes a big difference to the players who go out on the pitch to try and get the results to send you all home happy!
We have enjoyed a good first half to the season taking 48 points from the first 23 games, but we have achieved nothing yet.
As I have said to the players, we must produce at least the same again if not better over the second half of the season – that must be our aim as we try to win promotion back to the Championship.
With your support we are all confident we can achieve that goal.
So thanks again, have a great evening, and we’ll see you for hopefully a happy and successful 2014.
