Young Wolves striker Sam Winnall is to join Shrewsbury on a month’s loan.
The 21-year-old frontman joined up with the Shrews this morning ahead of their game with Swindon tomorrow.
The initial loan spell runs until October 27.
Winnall has been in good form for Wolves in the Barclays Under-21 League so far this season and the chance to join the League One outfit offers further opportunity for first team experience.
He has enjoyed previous loan spells with Burton Albion, Hereford and Inverness Caledonian.
He joins up with former Wolves boss Graham Turner on the same day as another ex-Wolf, Barnsley defender Lee Collins having also moved to Shrewsbury on loan.
