Kenny Jackett has confirmed Wolves are interested in signing Wigan frontman Nouha Dicko.
The 21-year-old, who recently notched six goals in six games – including two against Wolves – during a loan spell with Rotherham, was at Molineux for this afternoon’s 2-0 win against Preston North End.
Dicko spent the second half of last season on loan at Wolves, where used as a winger he notched one goal from four appearances.
“Nouha Dicko was here for talks which will go on over the weekend,” said Head Coach Kenny Jackett.
“I’ve been concentrating on the game but I knew he was due here to speak to Jez and Kevin Thelwell.
“I don’t know how it all went because my concentration over the last day or so has all been on this game.
“So I haven’t met him today because of the game so we will see what happens.
“We are working very hard at trying to improve the squad now we have an opportunity with the window open.
“There are a few options that we have but I don’t think there will be numerous additions but vital ones.
“What we want is a complement to what we have here already.”
